Updates!

So I haven't really been posting in here, mainly because I completely forgot I even had a blog in the first place but also because I'm extremely lazy.
But, since so many awesome things are going on lately, I figured I would make a super-long post about it all.

First of all, I finally was able to order my Blythe for X-mas. She's a Simply Sparkly Spark and I love her so much. [Although when she comes I am definitely removing the orange/pink eyechips.] I think I have a name going for her as well as a personality, but I'm not making anything permanent until she arrives and I can spend time with her. Sometimes the doll's personality 'shows' differently in person. I just can't wait to finally own a Blythe.

Second, Mattel is awesome! Recently my second Mad Science Lagoona [I returned the first one]'s eyebrow melted off while styling her hair. Yikes![still pretty mad about it too; she was absolutely perfect!] I decided to contact Mattel and see if they would send me a replacement. Luckily they have an online chat for this, so I didn't need to call or anything which I love. So I told the representative about my issue and she offered to mail me a brand new doll. The only problems about this are that she might not be Lagoona, and she could be errored since I'm not personally picking her out.
A week and a half later, I get a large package from Mattel [too large for a doll] and I find a Home ick Frankie inside! She was almost perfect, except for one thing: the bottom lashes on one side were longer than the other. Super fixable since paint on MH comes off very easily with nail-polish remover. I just made the lashes equal with some remover and a toothpick [and then I did this with several doll's bottom lashes to give them a new look.
So now I have a brand-new Frankie with great hair and clothes. Thanks, Mattel! [Even though I still need to buy another Lagoona!]

Third, my mother had her surgery for LapBand. She's had this scheduled for a year and was happy to get it done finally. And although she was so happy about it and I was too, I was also very worried. She's had brain surgery before and after that happening I really did not want her going through surgery again. Anesthetic and all that. And even though this is a really minor procedure I just kept worrying something would go wrong and I wouldn't have a mother anymore. Fortunately it all went well and in a week of taking it slow, she's perfectly fine and healthy now. Yay!

So that's all that's really been going on. [Except for the Sailor Moon independent short, but I'm making another post about it because it's too long.]

The start of a blog.

Well, after reading certain blogs on here I have decided that maybe I should provide a documentation of my life to the rest of the world. I'm not yet sure if this will be a permanent thing or if it is just one of my useless projects that will slowly fade into oblivion, but why not atleast try, right?

A bit about me:
My name is Connor Charles O'Brien, I am sixteen years old and I live in Florida. I am currently attending Alonso High school, and I am sure I will keep attending this school for the eternity that is three years of school.

My hobbies include Photography, doll collecting/customizing/photographing, doodling all over my body, and debating over the internet.  I love to sing and dance [badly-not the singing part. At least, I think so.], cut my hair out of nothing but sheer boredom, and sit in my room for weeks on end and use the computer until my eyes melt. I very much enjoy reading. Actually I would kill someone for interrupting me while reading.

While sometimes I enjoy the presence of my friends, most of the time I  much enjoy sitting at home alone, with nothing better to do but talk to my dogs like people and treat my dolls better than real people will ever be treated.
